In the dental world, the benefits of the Artex® Articulation System are not limited to just dental technicians. The system is a communication tool used to transport information from the patient to the dentist, and then back to the technician. The Artex® system ensures that accurate measurements of the patient’s bite and chewing patterns translate to a final dental restoration. In short, it helps to make sure the crown fits comfortably in your mouth.
THE CHALLENGE:
Convince Them to Communicate!
Jensen Dental acknowledged that most dental technicians know the benefits of using an articulation system. The missing link was convincing their dentists of its importance. The main objective was to create a campaign and instruction al video designed to inform dentists and dental technicians on the use and benefits of the Artex® system.
The ability to multi-purpose the video for everything from a webinar and DVD to e-learning and flash video for the Jensen Dental website, was a necessity.
THE SOLUTION:
Show Them How!
Working closely with the Artex® product manager, I developed a logo that clearly articulated that there were three parties involved in the system: the patient, the dentist and the technician. The system was a cycle. The ‘cycle of success’, when used as directed, would benefit everyone involved.
The product manager then provided me with a detailed script and solid direction. I went on to orchestrate, light and videotape the four individual video segments in three days. I edited the segments and exported them in several video formats for use with multiple marketing initiatives.
THE RESULT:
The Artex® project manager incorporated the videos into a webinar designed to reach a large group of dentists in a short span of time. The videos were also multi-purposed into an e-learning module for educating new customers and new hires.
