Zubler Vario furnaces are a line of innovative and advanced dental porcelain furnaces. They are aimed toward increasing the efficiency and quality of restorative work in dental laboratories. Manufactured in Germany, the furnaces are distributed exclusively in North America by Jensen Dental, based out of North Haven, Connecticut.
THE CHALLENGE:
Engage and Educate!
After taking over exclusive North American distribution rights, Jensen Dental needed a quick, yet effective piece to educate its sales team on the features and benefits of the two Vario furnaces. The guide had to be comprehensive, easy-to-use, and flexible to accommodate the need for ongoing updates to the guide. The pressure was on! The budget had to be modest and the results turned around in just ten days.

What does each one do?
How does it help the customer?
My solution was to focus on the features and benefits of each furnace, from top to bottom. I first photographed the two porcelain furnaces from dynamic and detailed angles in order to engage the viewer. I then arranged the imagery in an easy-to-follow layout that took a seemingly complicated piece of equipment and broke it down to a digestible format. The tone and personality of the piece matched that of the furnace - sleek, trendy, and efficient.
THE RESULT:
The finished guides became the cornerstone from which Jensen Dental developed all of its sales training materials. The guides were printed in small quantities on a digital press. This made the project very cost-effective, while maintaining a professional look. Jensen Dental was so impressed with the look and feel I developed that they continued the look throughout other materials. Those other materials included tradeshow banners, a direct mail campaign, and a current in-production pre-approach brochure.
